We were supposed to have her 2 month check-up on the 6th but she had a cough all week and on the 1st Jennifer sent me a text and said she was having coughing fits and spit up probably 2oz of her bottle. She thought maybe I should get her checked out before the weekend in case there was something we could do that way we wouldn't have to go to the emergency room or urgent care. Another reason why I love our sitter! Well turns out she had a slight cold and some congestion but nothing we could really do besides saline drops in her nose. Since she was old enough and healthy enough they ended up doing her 2 month check up. Bad mom that I am I didn't write down her length or head measurement but she weighed 11lbs. 5.5oz. My little chunk is growing good! I need to figure out how to get on the Dr.'s office website and I will be able to get all the info I want.
Pumping is going good. I usually get 3 15-20 minute pump sessions in at work getting about 5-6 oz each time. I'm glad I had started stock piling while I was on leave because Thursday was the first time I had to take milk that I had pumped when I started back to work. I know the midwife said to put the milk in 3-4 oz packages but I think it makes it easier on Jennifer if I put 5 oz in since that is what she is eating these days. Hopefully in my next post I will give my thoughts on some of our favorite items that we use and some that are collecting dust these days.
Now for some pictures!!
Look who got to meet her, Laura from Adventures of an Infertile Myrtle! Keeping my fingers crossed extra tight for good results at her u/s!!! |
Got the stroller out for the first time since we had gorgeous weather this weekend. She loved it! |
Jennifer has a swing and she said Reagan loves it. I bought this one off a friend for $15, and you can obviously tell she loves it. Also we were finally big enough to fit into some OSU clothes. |
2 Month picture. Matt says someday she will hate me for all the bows and such I put in her hair but I just can't help myself! |
The bows just kill me! They are so darn cute and I love the pic of Laura and Reagan.
ReplyDeleteLove the bows :). Wow, she's growing well! Glad to hear pumping is going well for you. I'm starting this week to build up a supply. I've been freezing it in 6oz increments because that's what the bags hold...hope it works out!
ReplyDeleteBows are the best until she's got hair to pigtail and braid and ponytail! Love all the pictures! She looked so cute in her OSU jersey. That's great about your milk supply/ being able to pump at work. Keep up the great work, Mama!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, she's a CUTIE!
ReplyDeleteLaughed out loud at your comment regarding what you did with all your time BEFORE having a baby. I can so relate over here! :)
She's adorable!!
