It's Like Christmas!

So here lately I felt like I have been stuck in my weight loss goals. I haven't stepped on the scale in probably almost a month and I haven't been tracking my food like I should so I was pretty convinced my weight was starting to creep back up.

When I would ask Matt if he thought I was gaining or still losing, being the smart guy that he is, he turned it around on me and asked what the scale said. Smart smart man I have there!

Well, this morning I thought I would be adventurous and take out a pair of jeans I haven't fit into in well I really can't remember but it has been over a year. I know super adventurous right! Any way, drumroll please....THEY FIT!!!!!! WOOHOOOO!!!!!! I am so super duper pumped.

I know I still have a long long way to go but it's a start and a darn good one at that.

The DC trip was good, a nice little getaway. Reagan did amazing in the car only having 1 meltdown on the way there. She still slept through the night and stayed pretty much on the same schedule. She got to meet 2 of her Great Aunts, her Great-Great Aunt plus 3 of my cousins.

This week at the sitters I took a can of formula over with Reagan along with my pumped milk. I still fully intend to keep pumping but in order to make the milk go farther she can give Reagan a bottle of formula a day or every other day. The formula was free so I'm not out anything and Reagan seems to have no issue latching back onto me. Somehow, I'm not sure how we ended up with such an easy going baby who just rolls with things.

  3. Yay! Such an awesome feeling to get back into old clothes, right? Just make sure you aren't being too hard on yourself. New mamas need lots and lots of patience and grace in this area! I keep telling myself that the body "transformations" (ahem) took place over a span of about 2 years (infertility treatment plus pregnancy did a number on me) so I shouldn't expect my body to bounce back overnight.
